I used to do Computer Engineering, but after surviving ELEC1111 and COMP2521 I officially gave up and switched to Civil Engineering. At least bridges don't throw segfaults. (No hard feelings to my civil friends... mostly 😏)
Got rejected from dream job at Google
After 6 rounds of interviews, they said I "lacked the technical depth" they were looking for. Spent 3 months preparing for this.
Side project crashed after 2 months of work
My React app that I was building for 2 months completely broke when I tried to deploy it. Lost all my data and had to start over.
Messaged my ex at 3 AM
Had too much to drink and sent a long emotional text to my ex. They never responded and now I feel even worse about the breakup.
Lost $500 on crypto investment
Invested in a "sure thing" cryptocurrency that my friend recommended. It crashed 80% in one week. Should have done my own research.
Gave up on New Year's fitness resolution
Made it to the gym for 3 days in January, then completely stopped. Now it's March and I'm in worse shape than when I started.
